Wijaya Gems began in 1978 with a single cutting machine. A passion for gemstones and Sri Lankan craftsmanship shaped the business as it grew into a modern lapidary serving domestic and international clients.
The gem-bearing regions of Ratnapura and Deniyaya are part of that story. These Sri Lankan landscapes connect the stones in our collection to the island we call home.
Calibrated sapphires remain a speciality. In 2002, Wijaya Gems received the Geneva Award for Technology and Quality for Gems, a milestone in its continuing journey.
